PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY ORDER 020

The Navajo Nation remains in “Orange” status for businesses, and is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 variants on the Navajo Nation and surrounding states.
As COVID-19 vaccines are now available to children 5 years and older, along with the booster shots for adults, it is important to continue all prevention practices.
We encourage those who are not vaccinated to get the vaccine. Vaccines are proven to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and it’s variants.
Currently Delta – a variant of concern, and 2 variants being monitored – Alpha and Mu, have been detected on the Navajo Nation.
